Saffron Housing Trust has 14, traditional sheltered housing schemes located throughout Southern Norfolk. Each sheltered scheme offers a supportive environment to residents who live in their own self contained accommodation based around communal facilities. An active social programme is promoted to provide relief from isolation and loneliness and residents' families are actively encouraged to be part of this.

There is a dedicated team of Scheme Managers who provide daily contact with residents to ensure that everything is alright and if social or personal care becomes necessary they will also make arrangements with the local social services or health departments for this to be provided.
